Yesterday, Rilyn announced that she had to go to work. Next thing we knew she had gotten a hold of one of Jeff's travel coffee mugs and started heading out the door. It was so cute to see her drinking out of the mug, mimicking what she sees Daddy do when he is heading to work. Not only is Rilyn off to "work" these days, but she has started dressing herself as well. Little Miss Independence now lives in our home.

Here's an example of Rilyn's fashion style. She put on her swim top, bell bottom pants and "tap" shoes. I wonder if Heidi Klum will come knocking anytime soon?
Another example, but this time she decided to wear every piece of jewelry she owns as well as picking out the bows for her hair. You can't tell, but she has on one giraffe print bow and one zebra print bow, another fashion statement.
Looks like Emerson is getting in on the independence action around here too!

Ok, that is so cute that she was headed to work with her coffee. Might want to let her know that they usually require shirts at work. Isn't she a big girl dressing heself?! How cute is that. Adi still comes up with plenty of interesting outfits. Looks like Emerson is taking the bottle great now! I can't wait to hold her again when you come in May!!!
Oh my gosh, Rilyn is too cute! I love the stage when they start asserting so much independence. Lucca has an interesting fashion sense sometimes too! Emerson is adorable and getting so big! I am so glad you are coming home in May! I can't wait to see you and the girls again!
I finally got a blog! I didn't know how much I was missing out! Your girls are growing so fast. We don't always realize how much they really take in until moments like these. Miss you!
